Lower-division Transfer

Some UC campuses allow lower-division transfer for students who were eligible for admission as a freshman and have completed fewer than 60 semester units at the community college. For information about lower-division transfer, contact the Admissions Office at the campus you wish to attend.

Meeting the minimum transfer admissions eligibility requirements does not guarantee that you will be admitted to the major and campus of your choice. In cases where there are more eligible applicants than transfer openings, applicants with the strongest academic preparation will be given priority.
